House Tour: Entryway Edition

Last week I started the house tour off with the kitchen, I should have started with the entryway first but well we do things a little backwards around here sometimes.

The front door was one of the "wow factors" the first time we looked at the house. Anyone have tall doors like these? What do you use to hang your wreaths? I am thinking 3M hooks or a door wreath hanger and hanging it by ribbon.

When you walk in the playroom is to your right( before you get to the stairs) and the dining room is to your left. I am sure you spot some of my fall decor in this photo and there will be a post about that coming up very soon.

And looking up there is a opening where you can look down on the entryway from upstairs.

The first door to the left is the half bath. It is the only bathroom on the first floor besides the master. Oh and don't worry it is not really as orange as it appears in the picture. It is more of a mixture of burgandy and rust...somedays I love it and somedays I don't but either way it will stay because my husband has banned me from painting ;). The other door is to the cleaning closet.

  1. I love your front doors! I think the ribbon idea would be great for hanging wreaths. So much you can do with that. Found you via Gluesticks. Toodles, Kathryn http://thededicatedhouse.blogspot.com/2011/08/little-goodwill-finds.html
